A method using projection, video, + animation to change the face of surfaces in the real world.
Projects developed under the guidance of Allen Sayegh and Krzysztof Wodiczko during my time at Harvard University.
A 3D digital model was made of the surface to be projected upon. A video file was virtually projected onto the 3D digital model. Views of that virtual projection were rendered from the persepctive of the projector., then projected onto the actual surface that was originally modeled.
Implications for Future Work:
- This technique can guide people through experiences in real-world environments.
- This technique can create interventions in spaces that encourage re-examination of everyday environments.
